Uganda Gathering

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community?

Do you want to learn more about what the Bible has to say about the role of the church in responding to poverty?

Do you want to learn from and connect with ministries from across East and Southern Africa?

Do you want to be equipped to take action in your own setting?

If you answered yes to any of those questions then Uganda Gathering is the space for you!

The Uganda Gathering will be held in Jinja, Uganda, in May 2015. Whether you're already working with churches and ministries reaching out to the poor, or just sensing God's call to begin, there will be something for you. During five days of teaching, worshp and workshops, we will explore models of community empowerment presented by inspiring, mature and experienced leaders of impactful ministries. Join us and hear what God is doing across the East African region.

These conferences are full of teaching, worship and workshops. Speakers share their heart, experiences and expertise with participants. Everyone leaves inspired with new ideas, models and skills which will enable them to develop their ministries and programmes.

We also make time for delegates to visit, and engage with, work being done locally. Participants observe proven models for action and discuss practical issues based on this living example.

Our most recent gathering was in Durban in 2015. You can watch all the videos here

Our next conference is in Jinja, Uganda, on 2–6 May. We’ll focus on how the church can respond to the challenges of trafficking, gender-based violence, street children and other issues affecting Uganda today.
